Marriott Bonvoy has announced a new promotion allowing members to earn up to 4,500 bonus points on eligible stays of two or more nights. This offer provides 1,500 bonus points for stays at participating properties worldwide, with an additional 3,000 bonus points for stays at participating resorts.

Key details

  • Registration deadline: November 13, 2026

  • Earning period: September 22, 2026 – November 22, 2026

  • Bonus: 1,500 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points per eligible stay

  • Additional bonus: 3,000 extra points for eligible resort stays

  • Minimum stay: Two or more consecutive nights

  • Excluded brands: BVLGARI, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Marriott Executive Apartments, and various Vacation Club/Residence Club owner-occupied weeks.

To qualify for the promotion, members must register their Marriott Bonvoy account between September 9, 2026, and November 13, 2026. The earning period for eligible paid stays runs from September 22, 2026, through November 22, 2026. Only stays completed after registration will count towards bonus points. There is no limit to the number of eligible paid stays for which members can earn bonus points during the promotional period.

Eligibility and Exclusions

Bonus points apply to paid stays of two or more consecutive nights under the same reservation, booked at a Qualifying Rate through Marriott Channels. Award Redemption Stays, including Cash + Points, Free Night Awards, and Points redemptions, are not eligible. Stays booked through most third-party online retailers or select travel agency rates also do not qualify.

Properties participating in the Marriott Bonvoy program are generally included, but certain brands are explicitly excluded from this promotion. These include BVLGARI, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, and Marriott Executive Apartments. Additionally, owner-occupied weeks at Marriott Vacation Club, Grand Residences by Marriott, Marriott Grand Residence Club, Sheraton Vacation Club, Westin Vacation Club, The Ritz-Carlton Club, St. Regis Residence Club, and The Luxury Collection Residence Club are not eligible. Only one room at one property per stay will count towards the promotion.

For eligible Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy stays of two or more nights, members will earn the 1,500 bonus points. However, these stays do not qualify for the additional 3,000 bonus points for resort properties. Members who choose to earn airline miles instead of points are not eligible for this promotion.

Opinion

This is a solid, if unspectacular, promotion from Marriott Bonvoy, especially for those planning resort stays. Since it is a one-off bonus, it becomes less attractive the longer the stay. For some reason, I was unable to register for the offer (yet?), but I suggest you try to do so – it usually helps in case one simply forgets about the promotion.
