Marriott Bonvoy has launched its fourth points sale of 2026, featuring a bonus of up to 55% on purchased points and an increased annual purchase limit. This offer is available until November 23, 2026.

Key details

  • Offer ends: 11:59 p.m. ET November 23, 2026

  • Bonus: Up to 55%

  • Minimum purchase for bonus: 2,000 points

  • Annual purchase limit: Increased to 200,000 points (excluding bonus points)

  • Price with 55% bonus: 0.81 US cents per point

  • Eligibility: Account open for at least 90 days, or 30 days with other activity

During this promotion, the maximum number of points members can purchase annually has been raised from the usual 150,000 to 200,000 points. Bonus points earned through this offer do not count towards this annual limit. Purchases must be a minimum of 2,000 points to qualify for the bonus. With a 55% bonus, the cost per point is approximately 0.81 US cents, which is reported as the lowest price Marriott has sold points for in 2026.

To be eligible to purchase points, a Marriott Bonvoy account must have been active for at least 90 days. This requirement is reduced to 30 days if the account has recorded other qualifying activity. Points are sold in US dollars, and pricing may vary during promotional periods. Standard pricing is 12.50 US dollars per 1,000 points. Points typically post to the member’s account within 72 hours of the transaction.

Opinion

A 55% bonus is decent, but not groundbreaking for Marriott Bonvoy. While the increased purchase limit to 200,000 points is welcome, the real value here depends on finding specific redemption opportunities.

Marriott’s dynamic pricing can make point purchases a gamble, so members should always compare the cash cost of a stay against the point redemption value, especially for higher-end properties or when using the fifth-night-free benefit. This is a chance to top up for a specific award, but it's not a reason to speculatively buy points.
