Hilton Honors has launched its latest points purchase promotion, offering members up to a 120% bonus on purchased points. This promotion allows points to be acquired for 0.45 cents each, representing an improved offer compared to the usual maximum of a 100% bonus.

Key details

  • Purchase window: 7 October to 21 November 2026

  • Bonus: Up to 120% bonus points

  • Cost per point: 0.45 cents per point with 120% bonus

  • Minimum purchase for best bonus: 5,000 points

  • Purchase cap: Up to 240,000 points (before bonus) per calendar year

The offer is valid for points purchased between 7 October and 21 November 2026. Members must log into their Hilton Honors account to view their targeted bonus, with the best offer being a 120% bonus when purchasing at least 5,000 points in a single transaction.

Normally, Hilton Honors charges one cent per point before any bonuses. With the 120% bonus, a purchase would yield 528,000 points for $2,400 if the maximum is bought, achieving the 0.45 cents per point rate.

During this promotion, the annual purchase cap has been increased by 50% from 160,000 to 240,000 points before the bonus is applied. This means members could purchase up to 528,000 points in total with the 120% bonus.

Points purchases are processed by Points.com and do not qualify as hotel spending for credit card bonus categories. Hilton Honors points do not have blackout dates for standard room redemptions and do not expire as long as there is account activity every 24 months, which includes purchasing points.

Opinion

A 120% bonus on Hilton Honors points, achieving a 0.45 cents per point rate, is technically the best offer we have seen. However, recent devaluations have pushed top-tier award costs up to 250,000 points per night, meaning even with this bonus, securing aspirational stays requires a substantial points outlay.

While the increased purchase cap is useful, this offer only makes sense if you have an immediate and high-value redemption in mind (remember the Fifth Night Free option) ; otherwise, the program's dynamic pricing and prior devaluations may dilute the perceived value.
