SWISS to resume daily Zurich-Dubai flights from 27 October
SWISS will reinstate its daily service between Zurich and Dubai starting 27 October 2026, primarily using an Airbus A340-300 aircraft.

SWISS is set to resume daily flights between Zurich and Dubai, reintroducing the route to its regular schedule from 27 October 2026. The service, operating under flight numbers LX242/243, will primarily utilise an Airbus A340-300 aircraft during the winter schedule. This aircraft type will make its Premium Economy Class available on the route.

Flights originally scheduled for 25 and 26 October, coinciding with the start of the winter flight schedule, have been cancelled due to operational reasons. Passengers affected by these cancellations will be informed and rebooked onto alternative connections.

SWISS's resumption of flights to Dubai is good news for travellers seeking direct connectivity between Zurich and Dubai, as there is no other direct connection with Star Alliance (it is possible to fly with Turkish Airlines or EgyptAir, but both would involve a stopover in either Istanbul or Cairo).
