Hilton Honors has introduced its third global promotion of 2026, named “More Points to Play”. The promotion offers members bonus points for stays completed between 15 October and 31 December 2026. Members must check out by 31 December 2026 to qualify for the promotion.

Key details

  • Stay dates: 15 October to 31 December 2026

  • Bonus points: 1,000 points per stay; 3,000 points per stay at luxury, lifestyle, resort, or all-inclusive hotels

  • Eligibility: All stays booked directly with Hilton, including award stays

Under this promotion, members can earn 1,000 bonus points for each eligible stay. For stays at luxury, lifestyle, resort, or all-inclusive hotels, the bonus increases to 3,000 points per stay. There is no stated limit to the number of bonus points members can earn, and rewards begin from the first eligible stay.

Registration for the promotion is required before the first eligible stay, though stays booked prior to registration are valid. Bonus points may take six to eight weeks to post to an account but typically post faster. All stays booked directly with Hilton, including award stays, are eligible for this offer. This bonus is in addition to standard points earning rates.

There's also a complete list of hotels that qualify for the 3000-point bonus.

Opinion

Hilton Honors' "More Points to Play" promotion is disappointingly conservative. Offering 1,000 bonus points per stay, valued at roughly $5 (or $15 for specific brands), provides minimal incentive for most travellers. While it is better than nothing, this type of promotion does little to encourage booking Hilton stays over competitors, particularly for longer or more expensive trips where the bonus is negligible compared to the total spend.

It highlights a trend of increasingly modest global promotions from Hilton Honors, especially against the background of multiple devaluations over recent years.

Like many others, I am not excited by this, especially when other brands offer solid 3x points promotions (like IHG or Accor recently).
