GHA Discovery: Earn D$50 bonus on Minor Hotels stays

GHA Discovery members have the opportunity to earn a D$50 bonus for eligible stays at participating Minor Hotels properties. This offer applies to stays of at least two nights completed between September 24, 2026, and January 31, 2027.

To qualify for the bonus, members must register for the promotion and book their stays between September 24, 2026, and November 30, 2026. The D$50 bonus is awarded for each qualifying stay, in addition to the standard Base DISCOVERY Dollars earned.

The promotion is valid at 482 participating hotels across brands including Anantara Hotels & Resorts, Avani Hotels & Resorts, Colbert Collection, Elewana Collection, iStay Hotels, Minor Hotels, NH Hotels & Resorts, Oaks Hotels Resorts and Suites, The Wolseley Hospitality Group, and Tivoli Hotels and Resorts. Bookings must be made via specific eligible channels, including minorhotels.com, anantara.com, avanihotels.com, nh-hotels.com, tivolihotels.com, oakshotels.com, the GHA DISCOVERY App, the GHA DISCOVERY Website, or directly with the participating hotel. Bookings made through third-party online retailers or at ineligible rates, such as corporate or wholesale rates, do not qualify. Stays booked prior to September 24, 2026, are not eligible.

The bonus D$ awarded under this promotion expire six months after their issuance date, differing from the standard Base D$ expiration rules. Consecutive stays at the same property with the same check-in date as the last check-out date are considered a single stay. Similarly, bookings for multiple rooms are treated as one stay.

Opinion

A D$50 bonus for a two-night stay can be a significant return, particularly for less expensive properties within the Minor Hotels portfolio. Given that D$ function like cash, this promotion effectively provides a rebate that could cover a substantial portion of the cost for budget-conscious travellers. Some hotels, for example the La Suite Dubai Hotel & Apartments, are basically 50% off for a two-night stay.

The only downside is that the D$ earned with this promotion expire six months after their issuance date, so keep an eye out for that.
