Earn D$30 at Check-In at Minor Hotels With GHA DISCOVERY
GHA DISCOVERY members can earn D$30 at check-in on eligible stays at participating Minor Hotels through January 2027.
By Jonas Manser
Global Hotel Alliance has launched a targeted bonus for its GHA DISCOVERY loyalty programme, offering members a credit of 30 DISCOVERY Dollars (D$) when staying at participating Minor Hotels properties.
Key details
Book by: 7 December 2026
Stay window: 8 October 2026 to 31 January 2027
Bonus: D$30 (worth US$30) credited at check-in
Eligible brands: Anantara, Avani, Colbert Collection, iStay, NH Hotels & Resorts, and Tivoli
Requirements: Registration and direct booking required
Interestingly, this promotion overlaps with another offer we've previously covered: a D$50 bonus for stays of two nights or more, also at Minor Hotels. Based on the terms of the new D$30 credit promotion, the two offers unfortunately cannot be combined.
To participate, members must register for the offer and book directly between 8 October and 7 December 2026. Eligible stays must be completed by 31 January 2027.
Because DISCOVERY Dollars are fixed at an exchange rate of D$1 to US$1, the promotion delivers a US$30 equivalent bonus. Unusually for hotel loyalty promotions, the currency is credited directly at check-in rather than posting after checkout. This mechanism allows travellers to apply the D$30 balance immediately towards their hotel bill during the same stay.
The promotion applies across selected brands within the Minor Hotels portfolio, including Anantara Hotels & Resorts, Avani Hotels & Resorts, Colbert Collection, iStay Hotels, NH Hotels & Resorts, and Tivoli Hotels and Resorts.

Opinion
Getting rewards that can be spent before you even leave the property is a welcome departure from the standard hotel loyalty model of waiting days or weeks for points to post. A flat US$30 rebate moves the needle significantly on a budget-friendly, single-night stay at an NH or iStay property, functioning effectively as an immediate cash discount on dining or room charges.
If you are staying for two nights or more, it may be better to use the D$50 promotion instead, which is also still available. It is encouraging to see Minor keeping loyalty members engaged with frequent promotions.
