Singapore Airlines (SIA) is, as in many previous years, once again the world's best airline according to Skytrax. And apparently, they are not done improving, as they are introducing new and refreshed menus, expanded beverage offerings, and custom-designed serviceware across their cabin classes.

Over 100 new and refreshed appetisers, main courses, and desserts are being progressively rolled out across all cabin classes as part of the new SIA Chefs’ Selection in-flight menu category.

Further dining enhancements, including new beverages, serviceware, and onboard service touches, are scheduled for introduction starting in November 2026. This initiative is part of a broader investment in the airline's end-to-end travel experience, which will be fully unveiled in Singapore in November 2026 (including new A350 business and first class seats).

New Culinary and Beverage Options

The SIA Chefs’ Selection features new dishes developed by the airline's in-house and guest chefs in collaboration with catering partners. This menu category includes familiar flavours, regional favourites, revised classics, and new culinary creations.

For beverages, Singapore Airlines is introducing new wine labels for Suites, First Class, and Business Class. New spirits options will be available across all cabin classes, aiming to provide a wider selection for passengers.

Opinion

While many airlines cut costs, SIA appears to be investing in tangible improvements. This might be one of the perks of being in the 'pole position' among airlines, so to speak, as Singapore Airlines customers tend to be willing to pay more for better experiences. I haven't flown with them (at least long-haul) for quite a while now, and experiencing the new A350 products will definitely be an experience I want to try.
