World of Hyatt has published its latest category assignments. Two aspirational resorts got cheaper.
By CheckedInDaily
World of Hyatt has added 14 newly opened and newly converted properties to its award chart, and adjusted the category of a handful of existing hotels.
The good news
Two resorts moved down a category, cutting free night pricing by 5,000 points per night — a rare direction of travel in loyalty these days.
The bad news
Six urban properties moved up, including two that are popular Category 4 free night certificate targets.
