Chase Sapphire Preferred Bonus Increases to 80,000 Points
The Sapphire Preferred sign-up bonus is at its highest public level in two years. We run the numbers on whether the annual fee still makes sense.
By CheckedInDaily
Chase has raised the public sign-up bonus on the Sapphire Preferred to 80,000 Ultimate Rewards points after $4,000 of spend in three months.
Why this matters
Ultimate Rewards transfer to a strong list of partners, and 80,000 points is enough for a one-way business class seat to Europe on several of them.
Eligibility reminder
Chase still enforces the 5/24 rule and a 48-month lockout after receiving a Sapphire bonus of any kind. Check both before applying.
