Finnair Plus members can now convert Avios to Radisson Rewards points and vice versa, plus receive a status match based on their Finnair Plus tier.
By Jonas Manser

Finnair Plus and Radisson Rewards have launched a new partnership enabling two-way points and Avios conversions, alongside a status match programme for elite members of both loyalty schemes. The partnership was previously announced for September 2026 after an initial premature launch in August.
Key details
Conversion Rate (Finnair Plus to Radisson Rewards): 3 Avios = 5 points
Conversion Rate (Radisson Rewards to Finnair Plus): 10 points = 1 Avios
Tier Match (Finnair Plus Silver & Gold): Radisson Rewards Premium
Tier Match (Finnair Plus Platinum & Platinum Lumo): Radisson Rewards VIP
Matched status validity: 2 years
Account linking: Via the Finnair Shop portal
Two-Way Conversions
Members can now convert Finnair Plus Avios to Radisson Rewards points and Radisson Rewards points to Finnair Plus Avios. The conversion rate from Finnair Plus to Radisson Rewards is 3 Avios for 5 points. For conversions from Radisson Rewards to Finnair Plus, 10 points convert to 1 Avios.
Radisson Rewards Tier Match
Finnair Plus elite members can receive a status match with Radisson Rewards. Finnair Plus Silver and Gold members are eligible for Radisson Rewards Premium status, while Finnair Plus Platinum and Platinum Lumo members will receive Radisson Rewards VIP status. Matched statuses are valid for two years. To maintain the matched tier, members must meet Radisson Rewards' standard requirements: 5 nights or 3 stays for Premium, and 30 nights or 20 stays for VIP within a 12-month period.
To link accounts and initiate a tier match, members must provide their 16-digit Radisson Rewards number and Finnair Plus membership number through the Finnair Shop portal. The name on both loyalty accounts must match for successful linking and point transfers.
Matched status benefits, such as Member Only Rates, room upgrades (subject to availability), and food and beverage discounts, are available immediately upon activation. For stays booked through third-party sites, members must provide their Radisson Rewards number at reservation and check-in to ensure nights count towards status maintenance.

Opinion
The status match is a win for Finnair Plus Platinum and Platinum Lumo members, granting them Radisson's top-tier VIP status for two years. Silver and Gold members getting Premium is less impactful. Sadly, there's no status Finnair status match for existing Radisson VIP members.
The points conversion rates, however, are largely poor. Converting Finnair Plus Avios to Radisson points values Avios at less than one-third of a US cent, which is notably low. The reverse conversion from Radisson points to Avios offers marginal value at best. Unless you have a small orphan balance of Radisson points, neither conversion option is likely to deliver good value for most members.
