GHA Discovery Offers Lifetime Titanium Status or D$5,000 in Giveaway, plus D$50 for stays at new brands
GHA Discovery is holding a promotion awarding ten lifetime Titanium memberships and ten D$5,000 hotel credits, alongside a D$50 bonus.

Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) Discovery is running a promotion offering members the chance to win one of ten lifetime Titanium elite memberships or one of ten D$5,000 hotel credits. Concurrently, members can earn a D$50 bonus credit for qualifying stays.

Giveaway Details
The “D$50,000 Giveaway for Your Getaways” runs from 1 September to 31 October. Ten members will receive D$5,000 in hotel credits each, and an additional ten members will receive GHA Discovery’s highest published elite tier, Titanium, for life.
Members can earn entries into the sweepstakes through three methods:
Registration: One entry per member for registering for the promotion. No hotel stay is required.
Eligible Stays: Five entries for each completed stay booked directly through GHA Discovery or a participating hotel brand’s own channels during the promotion period.
On-Property QR Code Scans: One entry per brand for scanning the promotion’s QR code at a participating hotel, without requiring a stay.
Winners will be drawn and notified by 7 December.
D$50 Bonus Offer
In addition to the giveaway, members can earn a D$50 bonus credit. To qualify, members must register for the promotion and then complete a stay of at least two consecutive nights at a GHA Discovery brand where they have not stayed during the calendar year 2026. The reservation must have been made on or after 1 September and the stay completed by 31 October. This D$50 bonus can be earned once per member at each new brand, is stackable with regular earnings, and expires six months after issuance. Bookings must be made directly.
Titanium Status Benefits
GHA Discovery Titanium benefits include 7% back in Discovery Dollars (regular D$ expire after 24 months), a two-category room upgrade subject to availability, 11 a.m. early check-in and 4 p.m. late check-out subject to availability, an enhanced welcome amenity, an additional brand-specific benefit, and breakfast for the member and one guest at participating brands.
Opinion
This GHA Discovery promotion is a mixed bag. The chance to win lifetime Titanium status or D$5,000 is nice, especially as a no-purchase-necessary lottery entry is provided just for registering. However, the chances of winning are of course minimal as always with this kind of promotions.
The D$50 bonus is more tangible, yet complicated. It requires a stay at a brand new to the member in 2026, which introduces a hurdle for those with established GHA patterns or living in places where there are simply not that many GHA affiliated hotel brands available.
What bothers me most though is the six-month expiry on the promotional D$50. Overall, it's worth registering for the sweepstakes, but chasing the D$50 bonus only makes sense if it aligns with existing travel plans. Keep in mind that this can be stacked with other promotions.
