First Class Redemptions
A specific use case highlighted for this offer is redeeming for Starlux First Class. A long-haul First Class award between Asia and the Americas or Europe now requires 130,000 miles, following a slight devaluation on 1 October 2026. At the discounted rate of 2.4 cents per mile, this would cost approximately $3,120, plus around $300 in taxes and fees one-way.
Starlux First Class is available on all Airbus A350 aircraft. Passengers departing from Los Angeles (LAX) in First Class receive access to the PS LAX facility.

Opinion
A 40% discount on miles is significant, bringing the cost of Starlux First Class to a more attainable level than its typical cash price. While 130,000 miles for a one-way long-haul First Class ticket is a lot, the discounted purchase price makes it competitive, especially with the inclusion of PS LAX access from Los Angeles. This offer specifically targets those interested in the Starlux First Class experience, which previously lacked accessible redemption options.
