Lufthansa's Miles & More programme is offering up to a 50% bonus on bundled miles purchases, with updated bundle components for September.
By Jonas Manser

Lufthansa's Miles & More frequent flyer programme is once again offering up to a 50% bonus on its bundled miles purchases, available until 30 September 2026. The programme sells miles in bundles, which also include other components.
This September offer includes revised bundle contents and an increased maximum purchase limit. The X-Large bundle now provides three lounge vouchers and 150 Status Points. The maximum number of miles that can be purchased in a calendar year through bundles, excluding any bonus, is 250,000 miles. The bonus, which is the primary incentive to buy these bundles, is available only to members who have not previously purchased them.

Opinion
The Lufthansa Miles & More 'Bundle & Go' offers always felt a bit odd, attempting to masquerade mile sales as 'bundles'. The new additions of lounge vouchers, and particularly the points, are welcome. However, who truly needs a lounge voucher when most redemptions will likely be in business or first class?
The main issue I have, however, is the limitation to users who have never purchased bundles. My guess is that they are trying to sell bundles to people who are not very familiar with the loyalty business. 'Newbies' are more likely to use the miles for suboptimal redemptions or perhaps not at all, having not realised how scarce flights can be on some routes (and during certain periods).
