Eurowings Offers Double Miles & More Award Miles on Balkan Routes, book until Oct 31

Eurowings has announced a promotion offering double Miles & More award miles on eligible direct flights. The promotion covers routes between Germany and Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Croatia, and Romania.

Travellers can earn double standard award miles for flights taken within the specified travel period. Miles & More members without status will earn 8 award miles per euro of flight price, instead of the usual 4. Frequent Traveller, Senator, and HON Circle Members will earn 10 award miles per euro, instead of 5.

Mile calculation is based on the ticket price and surcharges levied by Eurowings. Taxes, fees, and additional paid services are not included in the calculation. The travel class does not affect the promotional miles; this applies to both Economy and BIZclass flights.

To participate, members must activate the offer between 20 August and 31 October 2026. Travel must occur between 1 November and 15 December 2026. The Miles & More service card number must be entered during the booking process. This offer is exclusively for award miles; Points, Qualifying Points, and HON Circle Points are not doubled.

Opinion

Double miles promotions are always welcome, especially for those who already plan to fly these specific routes. Southeastern Europe is usually quite popular during the autumn period, as the heat is less exhausting than during the summer months.

The 8 to 10 miles per euro earning rate for award miles is solid, effectively translating to a decent rebate on eligible fares, particularly for status holders. For those who fit the regional niche, it's a nice bonus, but it hardly moves the needle for the broader Miles & More membership.
