Qatar Airways Privilege Club has launched its new monthly redemption discount programme, 'Privilege Deals', offering a 25% reduction on award flights to selected destinations in both Business and Economy Class.

Key details

  • Book by: 14 September 2026

  • Travel dates: Through 31 October 2026

  • Discount: 25% off award flights

  • Cabins: Business Class and Economy Class

  • Promotion name: Privilege Deals

This promotion is available for bookings made by 14 September 2026, with travel permitted until 31 October 2026. The discount applies to itineraries where the journey either originates or terminates in one of the featured promotional cities, even if the other end of the itinerary is not part of the promotion.

Promotion Mechanics

Privilege Deals aim to fill seats that might otherwise remain empty. The promotion offers a travel period covering the next two months, which is longer than some comparable airline promotions. A key feature is that award bookings made under 'Privilege Deals' are eligible for refunds according to standard cancellation policies, reducing the risk associated with speculative bookings.

Featured Destinations

The 25% discount is available for specific routes:

  • Economy Class: Available from Doha to various cities including Bengaluru, Bucharest, Chennai, Colombo, Frankfurt, Helsinki, Istanbul, Kolkata, London, Madrid, Maldives, Manchester, Miami, Milan, Mombasa, Munich, Nairobi, New York, Oslo, Phuket, Rome, Seattle, Seychelles, Tbilisi, Venice, Vienna, and Zurich.

  • Business Class: Available from Doha to cities such as Auckland, Berlin, Copenhagen, Djibouti, Dublin, Edinburgh, Houston, Kuwait, Larnaca, Lyon, Montreal, Nice, Salalah, Sao Paulo, Sydney, Vienna, and Warsaw.

Opinion

The ability to route through Doha, even if the origin or final destination isn't a promotional city, offers a lot of flexibility.

While this isn't a groundbreaking innovation – it's clearly modelled on similar initiatives from other carriers – I am glad Qatar offers this promotion regularly. I am usually quite flexible in terms of travel and was able to book last month's promotion, travelling from Berlin > Doha > Bangkok.
