AirAsia and Pegasus Airlines Launch Codeshare Partnership

AirAsia has announced a new codeshare partnership with Türkiye’s Pegasus Airlines, providing expanded connectivity between Southeast Asia and Europe through Istanbul. This marks AirAsia's first codeshare agreement, linking its network across Asean and Asia with Pegasus Airlines' European network via Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen.

The partnership initially covers five European destinations: London Stansted, Moscow Vnukovo, Ankara Esenboga, Zurich, and Athens. Travellers from Kuala Lumpur can connect to these cities via Istanbul, and European travellers can access AirAsia’s network beyond Kuala Lumpur to destinations including Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, China, and Vietnam.

To support this new connectivity, AirAsia will increase its Kuala Lumpur-Istanbul (KUL-SAW) flight frequency from four to seven times weekly by February 2027. The codeshare is designed to offer a seamless connecting experience, allowing passengers to travel on a single booking with checked baggage transferred to their final destination without re-checking during transit in Istanbul.

Promotional Fares Available

To celebrate the launch, AirAsia is offering promotional one-way fares for bookings made between 2 September 2026 and 6 September 2026, for travel from 5 September 2026 to 27 March 2027. Flights from Kuala Lumpur to the five initial European destinations via Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen start from RM799. For flights to Kuala Lumpur, fares begin from USD199 one-way from Ankara Esenboga, Moscow Vnukovo, Athens, and Zurich, and from USD299 one-way from London Stansted.

These promotional fares include passenger service charge, regulatory service charges, fuel surcharges, other applicable fees, and a 20kg checked baggage allowance. All codeshare flights are operated by Pegasus Airlines. Flights can be booked through the AirAsia MOVE app.
